Eyes look different according to position of double eyelid line

There are four types of double eyelid which are inner double eyelid, in-fold, out-fold, and in-out fold type. You can choose double eyelid type you want but it is recommended to decide which double eyelid you prefer after considering your facial features, bone structure, thickness of eyelid skin, degree of protrusion of eyeball, shape of inner eyelid and the size of eyes.

1. Inner double eyelid

This double eyelid line is recommended for someone who wants natural double eyelid and wants only the small part of double eyelid to be seen when you open your eyes.

Eyes become look more defined rather than getting dramatically bigger. And since double eyelid is thin, it creates natural-looking eyes and the recovery period is shorter than other type (different type of double eyelid) of surgery.

This method is appropriate for person who has short vertical width of eyes with think eyelid skin, and it is the thinnest double eyelid among double eyelids.

2. In-fold Type

This double eyelid is called "in-fold type". Double eyelid starts from inside of Mongolian fold and the width become wider along the eyelid. Recovery period is short since double eyelid is thin, and if you want natural double eyelid but want double eyelid to be seen more, this method is appropriate for you

2. Out-fold type

This double eyelid line starts from Mongolian fold but not connected and it becomes wider along the eyelid line. Inner double eyelid and in-fold double eyelid generally fit for most eyes but as height of out-fold double eyelid line is high, you have to choose it carefully which means you need to have more consultation and consideration with doctors.. Normally, Caucasian have this type of double eyelid line.
If out-fold double eyelid surgery is performed on eyes, you will see the dramatic effectiveness.
It is the highest double eyelid and it is recommended for person who wants big and defined with drastic change.

3. In-Out fold type

This double eyelid line starts from Mongolian fold but not connected and goes along eyelid line. Difference between out-fold and in-out fold is that in-out fold's starting point of double eyelid is lower than out-fold.

 Most of Asian Celebrities has this type of double eyelid as it has no telltale sign of surgery even eyes become bigger than before.

There are many ways to provide improvement (bigger, beautiful eyes) without making obvious sign of surgery.

Even if your eyelid is thick, choosing the thinnest double eyelid is not the answer always as unnecessary fat or muscle can be removed in order to make your thick eyelid to thinner.
Also, small eyes can be corrected into big eyes with combination of corner fold removal surgery (Epicanthoplasty (inner corner extension), and Lateral Canthoplasty (outer corner extension)) or Ptosis Correction Surgery. 

So, It is better to choose the type of double eyelid which fits your condition after the in-person consultation

What is upturned(short) nose?

If your nostril is seen a lot when you look at yourself in the mirror, we call it upturned nose. Usually the length of an upturned nose is short.

When your nose is short it should be lengthened by nasal septum extension, and if length is normal but when the nasal tip is rotated, this can be corrected by nasal cartilage correction or cartilage implant on the nose tip.

Surgical methods of upturned nose correction

1. Cartilage refinement

2. Cartilage transplant

What is the Two Jaw Surgery?

This is a kind of jaw correction surgery and it corrects shape and position of both upper and lower jaw after Osteotomy of both jaws for medical improvement of jaw’s malfunction. Two Jaw Surgery is usually performed to patients who have abnormal facial contour and have occlusional problem. In those cases symtoms like malocclusion, decrease of chewing ability, improper pronunciation or temporomandibular joint disorder can occur at the same time.

   2 kinds of surgical method of mandible surgery

There are two kind of surgical method of mandible surgery. The first one is IVRO (Intraoral Vertical Ramus Osteotomy) and the next is SSRO (Sagittal Ramus Osteotomy).

A. IVRO

This method is resecting back part of jaw bone vertically. Excess jaw bone is removed and two sections are attached. The sections should fit perfectly and jaw is moved inwards. IVRO is the surgical method of using body’s natural ability of adhesion so mecial pins are not used for fixing bones.

When the bone is cut certain substance is secreted and it helps bone firmly adhered. You should not move your jaw until the bone is adhered.

B. SSRO

This is a kind of osteotomy to resect bone slantly and make broad sections. After resecting lower jaw and correcting its position, bones are fixed with medical pins.

SSRO use pins to fix bones firmly and the sections are broad, so bones are adhered fast and firmly. If you don’t like pins to be remained you can get them removed 6 months after surgery.

What you can achieve through two-jaw surgery

If upper jaw and lower jaw is not in balance you need two-jaw surgery. We can correct occlusion by repositioning both jaws and it can improve pronunciation and chewing ability. Also we can achieve cosmetic improvement and your face will become smaller and slimmer.
