Protruded chin means that the chin is long and protruded and it is not good for proportional balance. Its another name is Mandibular Prognathism.
In many cases lower teeth is
protruded more than upper teeth so chewing ability is poor, so many disorders like digestive problems and gastroenteric trouble

Macrogenia
In this case when you close your mouth with your teeth closed, occlusion is normal. Only your chin tip is protruded or long, so it can be simply corrected by chin tip surgery.

In this case the whole
lower jaw is projected to the front. Normally upper teeth is supposed to be in front of lower teeth about 1~2mm but this case is the opposite, so it needs correction.
