Cinderella Plastic Surgery, Facial Contouring: Cheekbone Reduction, Malar Reduction Surgery

What is cheekbone surgery?

To westerners with slim and 3-dimensional face contour, their protruded cheekbone can make one look attractive. But for Asians projected cheekbone can make one look older and masculine. This can be corrected by cheekbone reduction surgery.

V-line square jaw surgery can be applied to various cases.

1. Many curved lines on one's face
2. Big face because of protruded cheekbone
3. Masculine appearance because of overdeveloped cheekbone
4. Cheekbone is protruded compared to other parts on the frontal side of face.
5. Lateral facial line is uneven because of protruded cheekbone
6. Long face because of sagged skin with protruded cheekbone
7. Flat and aged face because of hollow or flat cheekbone

3 Types of cheekbone and surgical methods

Laterally protruded cheekbones

Wide cheekbones overall

Overdeveloped cheekbones at 45-degree angle

    1. Anterior cheekbone reduction
(1) Anterior cheekbones are grounded to reduce their thickness.
(2) Anterior cheekbones are cut and pushed inwards.

2. 45-degree cheekbone reduction
(1) Anterior cheekbones are grounded to reduce their thickness.

(2) Anterior cheekbones are cut and pushed inwards.
(3) 1cm incisions are made to the sideburn areas.
(4) Lateral cheekbones are cut and pushed inwards.
3. Lateral cheekbone reduction

Lateral cheekbone has to be reduced enough so frontal cheek can look
voluminous and your face can look much smaller. Cheekbone is resected and
pushed inwards.

4. Cheekbone implant

It is a surgical procedure to insert harmless, customized implants into one's
cheek. Since the implant is inserted after a minimum intraoral incision, it
creates voluminous and small face without visible scar so one’s face will look
smaller and younger.
